Hello fellow punters! ...Using automated selections, obviously the killer is the lay bet losing run, especially greyhounds, but it's strange how they seem to come along like buses!
I'd like to have zero/tiny stake on the next matched bet (or probably the next 2 matched bets) immediately after a losing lay.
I've tried setting the first simple sequence to 1 and the next figure to .01 and checked after a loser.
The intention being that after a losing bet, the next matched bet will have a low (stake x 0.01) placed on it.
I've found that the first bet is matched but then no further bets are matched. Any suggestions on how to get this to work, please, anyone?

Hi Steve,

Stake: 0.50
Multiplier: 0.01

Actual stake for second bet: 0.50 * 0.01 = 0.005 and this is rounded to zero.

This is incorrect stake value so there is no bet.

You should set stake at main screen to 1 pound.

OK Rade, thanks.
I'll make it 0.02 then use 50p stakes.
Have I got the right option box checked, please?

You have ticked option to restart simple sequence staking plan on first bet that makes you loss.

If I understand this correctly you should not tick this option because in this case stake will be minimum/zero after first winning bet.

Please try it out in simulation mode and see how it works.

I don't think simple sequence will do what i want?.....to recap...

Bot places same stake say 50p on all bets utill a loser.
After a losing bet, i want the next 2 bets to be skipped, or minimal stake.
Then, after these 2 bets are settled, revert back to full 50p stake.
Then repeat full stake until the next loser.

You can set sequence like this:
1st multiplier: 0.50
2nd multiplier: 0.01
3rd multiplier: 0.01

And tick option "Restart sequence after last multiplier". It should do what you explained here.

Make sure that you turn on rule to allow zero unsettled markets, it will help you see if your sequence is doing like you explained and you will not have to worry if previous bets were settled when new bet is placed.

If you do like what Rade wrote here then I think you will need to tick two boxes and I'm not sure if that would work
1. "Restart sequence on first winning bet"
2. "Restart sequence after last multiplier"

This will make sure the bot keep betting at 0.50 until a loss occur ("Restart sequence on first winning bet") and then bet 0.01 twice after a loss to skip two races ("Restart sequence after last multiplier") and then start again at 0.50.

If you do just as Rade wrote I think that it will bet 0.01 on second and third bet regardless. :?

I don't know if it's possible to tick two boxes at once, you got to ask Rade. But if that is possible then this might work

Thanks for your input, Cartex, testing indicates that you are right.
I will try checking both boxes and see what happens.

Please see attached. Unfortunately, after the losing bet its not using the sequence that you suggested Cartex, its just using my loss recovery settings and then starting the sequence again. Any futher suggestions would be welcome!
Suggestion Rade, it would be good if check boxes that aren't available due to other settings are greyed-out?

You are not supposed to use loss recovery with that staking plan.
Then the whole purpose is gone.

You have to disable the recovery. If you want to use recovery then it won't work with this staking plan
And you better try it in sim and not in live mode

Oops!
Thanks Cartex. Is this the same with all staking plans from that popup?
So non-selectable greyed-out options would be a good idea!

Yes, the puropse of a stakingplan is to give you a long-term profit without any use of recovery if you have a good system.
You can use loss recovery with a staking plan...but then the bets WILL NOT follow the staking plan.
Yes, you have to untick and grey out the recovery section (you have to reload or pause and resume the bot again for it to take effect)

Thanks Cartex...also I didn't realise that you had to pause/restart when checking/unchecking the loss pot facility.

I don't know if you really have to do it for that..
But Rade told me once that for changes to take effect I have to pause and resume the bot.
So I basically do it for all changes to make sure to be on the safe side.

Hi Cartex, Steve,

All settings are real time and you do not have to pause and click resume button, but if you make changes to loss pot recovery then it is best to restart (Stop and Start) bot because it will be easier to understand how your settings are working and how stakes are calculated.

Regarding checkboxes for Simple Sequence, I will recheck logic and grey out checkboxes that cannot be used if other ones are used.

Right now logic if following:
1. first check restart on winning bet if it is checked
2. first check restart on losing bet if it is checked
3. if 1 and 2 are not checked and restart on last multiplier is checked then restart on last multiplier is used

Rade & Cartex...still not working as hoped, see screenshot.
The two losers in a row is to be expected but the second one should have had stake x 0.01?
Since the shot was taken earlier there were 4 other occasions when there were two losers in a row so if this can be fixed I think it would be very worthwhile. Some of them had a gap between matched bets but that's the plan anyway.
This system doesn't apply to horse racing but it's been an old fact that a winning fav at one dog track is often followed by one at the other, hence the two losing lays in a row syndrome....can't be explained though!

Hi Steve,

Like I mentioned before. you got to turn off loss recovery
Another thing, for me it doesn't look like its a good idea to restart sequence after first losing bet.
Because then you are staking 1 again after the loss instead of 0.01
My opinon is that you should have ticked box 1 and 3 and disabled loss recovery

hi
i am not to sure about the method, as your bank will get wiped out on the favourites day.
but if you want to bet like in your post, you will need to do these settings
UNTICK loss pot recovery
set the simple sequence to
0 = 1 ( x set stake amount, this is the bet until a loss)
1 = .01 ( this is once after the loss, then back to the 0 setting )
TICK restart sequence on first winning bet
UNTICK restart sequence on first losing bet
TICK restart sequence after last mutiplier
save

this will place a lay bet until a loss, then place 1 bet at 0.01, then place normal stake until a loss and so on.
so from your screen shot it would have been
win=1.05
win=1.05
win=1.05
loss=2.73
loss=0.01
win=1.05
win=1.05
win=1.05
win=1.05
win=1.05

Guys, please see shot1 & 2 attached...nice long winning run but plan not working as expected.
I'm using LP Recovery since the staking plan is only placing lowest stake following a loser and is therefore not a staking plan as in fibonacci example and I want to recover losses. All i want to do is place x number of low bets immediately following a loser and then place a bet including loss recovery.
See after the 0540 timed loser the next bet shows loss recovery amount but should have been stake x 0.04.
After 0719 bet I increased stake and also adjusted staking plan but sods law 2 losing bets in a row! So plan obviously not working. Shot1 shows how it was earlier.

hi steve
sorry, but you cannot use a staking plan with recovery, because the recovery overides the staking plan.
if you want to recover your losses then, you need to set the simple sequence to
0=1
1=0.01
2=1.3
3=1.3
4=1.3
5=1.3
tick restart after win
and tick restart after last sequence
this will do what you want and recover 20% extra
keep altering the 1.3 higher until you get a happy medium, where you are recovering most of your loss without getting stakes to big.

hi mcbee
thanks very much for your input.... i didn't realise about overide priorities.
I've done as you suggested and attached are some results.
But, after the loser I can't make out whats happening with the staking plan.
The first result has the default 53p stake and the next has the low stake, 0.01. Followed by the normal 53p stake again?
Anything to do with aus/uk accounts do you think?

I took a screenshot but the file is too big as a png (smaller than jpg)...maybe with todays higher resolution screens this needs to be reviewed.
I could pm it to you?
Thanks again.

regards
steve
