General discussion about Bf Bot Manager v3 software for Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook betting exchanges

I have trialled a strategy that worked quite well in simulation mode, but since going to live mode it has failed miserably. In sim mode I checked the actual BSP of the selections I laid and they were different to the sim. Expected as the data is delayed. I thought that I would get more or less the right price when I switched to live mode but I am having the same problem with the selections.

What I want to do, is lay the 2nd favourite at odds between 3.5 and 6.2 but only if the favourites odds is 1.5 or more less and the 3rd favourite is within 2.0 of the 2nd favourite. I have set the bet to be placed 5 seconds before the in play time but the odds of a selection today were much greater than the actual Betfair 2nd favourite.

How can I get the BSP? Any ideas appreciated!

Thanks

BSP is only available after race goes in play, which means that you cannot check BSP for price range or compare it with any other runner price if your strategy is set to place bets before in play. That simply is not possible.

Your strategy is set to place BSP (Staking->Bets persistence rule is set correctly), but your bet size is wrong. All BSP Lay bets must have liability of 10 GBP or more, it is not possible to use 1 GBP. BSP Back bets minimum size is 2 GBP.

Price settings->Price rules rule is set wrongly, turn off option to use Start price as initial price, as Start price is unavailable before race goes in play. This rule needs to be set to use currently available price.
