General discussion about Bf Bot Manager v3 software for Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook betting exchanges
#19497
Hi,

Every so often I see the Bot go to place a bet, and the average price for the bet that is returned is 0, which then means the bets get cancelled. Why does this happen? I have attached a screenshot that shows two bets being cancelled, and then the follow up bets on the Correct Score market being placed correctly.

Also which rule should I use to get the Bot to bet again, if the first set of bets is Cancelled/isn't Matched successfully? I'd be fine with the cancelled Bets if the Bot then kept trying to bet again until it gets the correct price.

Thanks

Hi Jm30x,

Average price is zero because bet was canceled. Bet was canceled because of your strategy rules.

You should use "Price settings->Price rules" and set it to ask for worse price by 2 or 5 ticks to ensure that your bets get matched.

Hi Rade,

So my bottom price for betting is 1.34, with a 1 tick decrease. I've had other bets be cancelled when they are between 1.4-1.5, does this mean when the bot went to place the bet the price momentarily fell from between 1.4-1.5 down to below 1.34, and because of that the bot instantly cancelled?

Is there a rule so that if this happens, the bot will try and place the bet again, in case the price has jumped back up over 1.34?

Thanks!

Hi Jm30x,

We do not know your settings so we do not know when is bot set to bet. You can post screenshots of all your settings or export strategy so that we can check it, but please explain how you want it to work.

There is no option to cancel bet and then place it again if it is unmatched.

Rade
