Is there a way where you can enter say the 4th favs and only place a bet after 1 wins then stake what you would have lost on the next selection?

Hi Mark,

At Multiple Favorites bot, at favorite selection form you have option to start betting after X wins or loses. You can set to bet on 4th favorite after it wins 1 race.

There is no option to recover money that has not been placed.

Do not allow more than 0 unsettled markets
Set all your odds, overrounds, favs, etc...
In the 'Profit/Loss' settings - switch to real mode after 1 loss and switch to simulation after 1 win
Set loss recovory to 100% and 'if there is a loss, then use zero stake'

You should now be able to start in simulation mode until you get a loss, the bot will switch to real mode and try to recover that loss in one bet (100% loss revory) then when you hit a win it will switch back to simulation.
Just make sure that if you start to play around with the loss recovory amount you change the 'switch to simulation after x wins in a row' to represent this. eg - 50% will mean you need to switch back after 2.

I use a similar strategy and find it much more accurate than the 'bet after x wins/losses' settings as you can set all of your own odds and it only uses markets that you would be placing a bet on, not every single race.

McBee, bot switches between test and live depending on how you set it up.
works well if you have a basic loss recovery system. and I've used it successfully for a while now, only problem that ever comes up is if you get caught in between the AU and UK crossover - I only bet on AU markets now to make it easier to manage and this makes enough money to not worry about UK/US.

I use the simple sequence staking plan to only bet 0.01 on my 'test' bets then jump it up to 2% of my bank for the real bets. Loss recovery is almost always 100% but I guess it can really be anything as long as you adjust the 'switch to sim...' setting to match it.

Need to be patient with it as you may only get one or two 'live' bets a day.
I only bet on AU horses (win), 6-15 runners, overround 95%-105%, and only really ever play around with the first 3 favs (liquidity is pretty low for the others).

a couple of examples -
lay 1st fav, 3.00 - 5.00, start in sim and switch to live after 2 losses, switch back to sim after 1 win, 100% loss recovery.
back 1st fav, 2.20 - 3.20, start in sim and switch to live after 5 losses, switch back to sim after 1 win, 100% loss recovery.
lay 3rd fav, 1st fav is 'required' to be under 3.00, start in sim and switch to live after 1 loss, switch back to sim after 1 win, 100% loss recovery.

As you can see all I'm doing is getting the first part of a losing run out of the way so I can jump in with my first bet where I choose (and can afford).

Hi marko4

Maybe you can assist with what i am trying to do as your strateg is similar.

I started a thread "screen shot assistance for lay strategy" and ppl have tried to assist but my question is still unanswered. if you get a minute can you read it all - save me explaining again and let me know what you think.

can you provide a screen shot of

sim - loss occurs - real lay bet - back to sim mode win or lose

Thanks
