Hi, everyone. I'm hoping someone has some ideas on how to solve this.

I have some bets on a horse race; some lay bets at, say, 1.2x, 1.1x and 1.0x and some back bets, say 2.x, etc....

Now, sometimes, some runners are removed right before the start. This has been happening quite a lot in recent weeks on USA racing, so what happens is my lay bets, say from 1.12 down, will end up as 1.01 bets, and my back bets will end up at about 1.4 or 1.5. Obvs, this is all to do with the reduction factor, which is fair enough.

I would usually cancel all of these bets as they are not what I want, but I wonder how to go about this with the bots. I have tried a couple of things, but nothing works quite right, see image for where I started and played about with some of the setting. I have bets being cancelled that should have stayed and others staying that have gone...so not sure where to move with this...

I wondered if it would be possible to cancel the bets if the reduction factor drastically affected the prices to this extent? And is it possible to re-place the bets after being cancelled (not too worried about this if this is not possible)

Hi MrBee,

It is not possible to replace such bets or to cancel bets if their price is adjusted due to reduction factor.

Only solution is that you place your bets as close to the start time as possible e.g. 10s before start time, as that will reduce the chance of runner being removed so late before the start time.

Hey, thanks for the response. I have already set the bet time to 10s, but some of the markets (in the USA, for example) start late and also appear to be removing runners right before the start time...so even if you set the bets to place 10s before scheduled off, the bets get placed. Then you can end up waiting an hour whilst they sort out all the delays and remove runners, and then a minute before they get going, you notice your bets have been chopped to 1,01, etc...

I was hoping there was some way to cancel these bets if the prices were changed from the original prices set. It seems odd that this is not reliably possible.

I will try to see if setting the timing to 0s after in-play helps, but this is not ideal.

Thank you
