I've developed a strategy to back the pre match fav to score when they go down a goal early. It has a high strike rate but is backing some teams at $1.01 - I would not expect a team who was just scored against to be $1.01,

I assume it because the bot fires before the market settles, but the default setting of "Market status change delay" is 60m , is there a different setting I'm missing?

It makes no sense to use 60 minute delay at "Market status change delay" rule. Did you mean 60 seconds?

You should post screenshots of placed bets and of your settings to check them.

I agree, but it's the default setting, not mine. This is what it shows when I open them:

We will update default value to 60 or 180 seconds, it should not be set to 60 minutes.

You removed Overrounds and Back/Lay Ratio rules, why? Those ensure that strategy places bets only when market offer is valid. Right now you could be placing bets at odds of 1.01 or 1,000. It is very dangerous to remove those two rules that are by default added to every strategy. Please add them back.

You are also not using "Min/max selection price" rule to check price at which your bet will be placed for price range. Again without this rule you could be placing bets at worst possible odds e.g. 1.01 or 1,000. Imagine what would happen if you were placing Lay bets at odds of 1,000? You would lose all your money. Please add this rule and set it to check Back and Lay for price range in which you are willing to place bets.

Without those rules your strategy is placing bets at whatever offer on market is available. I hope you understand how dangerous that is. Backing at odds of 1.01 when valid odds could be 10.0 or placing Lay bet at odds of 1,000 when valid odds are 1.10.

Please use simulation mode while adjusting your settings and learning how software works. If your other strategies are not using those rules then please add them. Make sure that you read manual and watch video tutorials and keep using simulation mode until you are confident that your settings are working well and that you understand how your strategy works.

I deliberately removed them to get the highest volume of bets in simulation mode, then tighten up the rules once I see how the bot is working. I'll duplicate the strategy with them in and see how it works. The other other workaround I considered was setting a minimum odds amount of say $1.09
