Hi there

I'm trying to import a list of markets from BetfairTradingCommunity and the CSV looks like the attached.

Under Events and Markets, I'm clicking 'import markets', choosing the file but nothing is showing up, the account still chows 0/0 markets and I can't seem to get them to load. Is there anything obvious you can see here which is preventing the markets from showing up?

Only properly formatted CSV files can be imported, it is not possible to import other files.

You can load markets using quick load market icons and then export them to CSV file to get an example on how CSV file should look like. Use Notepad to compare CSV files, do not use Excel. Files cannot contain text formatting e.g. colors, fonts etc.

And what are the minimum criteria the CSV needs? Can we get away with just the "Event ID" to load the market?

You can import tips with market ID value, then the market will be automatically loaded by using market ID value.

But to import tips you will need to specify selection name or id too. In that case you could create CSV file like this:
MarketId,SelectionName,Provider
1.2345678,TestSelection,Test

It should load market with that id number if it exists.

Tips CSV file can be imported at STRATEGIES tab, use "Import tips from file" menu item. Tips will appear at "STRATEGIES->Manage tips" form.
