The hedge feature seems to work most of the time but not always - I have it set to green up with a 1 tick profit OR at 10 minutes - I also have it set to green at 0-1 or 1-0 if there is an early goal - what can I do to make sure the hedge works?

I've just had an example on the same match where the under 4.5 hedged and the over 5.5 didn't - the only thing different in the bots is the market filter

EDIT - I think the reason why one fired and the other didn't was the odds in the hedge safety rules being 1.1 minimum

There are other settings at hedge form, specially at Safety settings tab. Make sure min/max price range is set correctly for those markets.

For some reason the bot didn't record the hedge bet on the Gwangju v Busan game although it did work the Betfair website - how can I adjust this so it shows the hedge and correctly calculate the profit?

Also I saw this in a Cid Marcos bot - does having the Trade out rule add another layer to make sure the hedge works?

Manually placed bets at Betfair web site are not visible within bot.

Trade out places unmatched bet that stays at market and waits to be matched.

Hedge places bet after price changes and this bet should get matched instantly as it is placed at available market price.

What I'm saying is the bot hasn't recorded the hedge on that match but it shows on the Betfair website - it wasn't manually placed - I was still asleep

Is this a better way of doing it? - if the first hedge works then the other two will just hedge the hedged amount and if the first doesn't (maybe a suspended market or something) then one of them will hedge

All bets placed by bot are available at main BETS history tab. Please open main BETS history tab and search for all bets on that match, maybe some other strategy placed that bet.

There is no need to add hedge rule more than once, one instance is enough, as only one hedge can execute at a time and after that it will prevent other hedge rules from that strategy to execute.

the hedge is not in the BETS list and there is no other strategy that involves 4.5 goals market and it wasn't placed manually

I know the hedge will only work once - what I'm saying is IF the first hedge DOESN'T work will the 2nd or 3rd kick in?

Yes, they will, but only if settings for first hedge are not satisfied.

All placed bets by bot are written to log file and saved at bets history. Maybe there was a connection error or something like that while betw as being placed, other than that it is impossible for bot to place bet and bet not to be displayed at history tab.

OK - I know Betfair has been up and down for the last few days so that is why it may not have logged

I've changed a lot of settings and restarted the bot - I have another 5.5 bot with exactly the same settings apart from without the traded volume rule that DID fire so I don't understand it
