General discussion about Bf Bot Manager v3 software for Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook betting exchanges

Hi Rade
I am trying to set up a football strategy that works as follows:

When the total of goals is 0, a bet is placed on "Under 2.5". If a goal comes out, do "Edge" immediately after the goal.

Now that the goals total is 1, a bet is placed on "Under 3.5", but as there will probably be a loss of approximately 40% on the "Edge" made at the close of "Under 2.5" I would like that loss was calculated and included as a profit target at the opening of "Under 3.5". Just how "Overall Loss Recovery" works, but being applied within the same football match in cascade mode as the goals of the match happens.

If a new goal comes out in this match, the process will be repeated until "Under 5.5" is reached.

I tried this in two ways, but martingale didn't work ... could you help me with this task?

Hi Volmir,

It is not possible to set one strategy to work like that.

What you can try to do is to create separate strategy for each over/under X goals market and set Overall loss recover to recover losses from those strategies.

We are not sure if that will work like you want it to, so please try it out in simulation mode.

One of my tries follow your suggestion, but, what happen when a goal is scored is that the status doesn't change to "Settled" until the end of the match (some times yes)... this way, another strategy cant campute the loss to recover in "overall loss recovery".

Another way i tried was to configure one strategy (A) to place bets only on "under 2.5" when the total goals equals to 0, and another strategy (B) to place bets only on "under 3.5" when total goals equals to 1.

The strategy (B) will recover only losses from the first one, the strategy (A), and strategy (A) recover only losses from strategy (B)... this was the best aproach i found because strategy (B) will act only when strategy (A) fails, but, when i set "overall loss recovery" in advanced tab of strategy (A) i.e, to recovery ONLY losses from strategy (B) and click on "Save" button, after close the form, BfBot insert the owner strategy (strategy A) again automatically on the list of strategies to look for looses, making impossible act the way spected.

I really would like to test this approach... if you have any idea to help me, i thanks a lot

Understood Rade,
Please note in the image below that the description, following your information, is out of context and leads us to think that it is possible to ignore the losses of the strategy itself.
