How do I add additional leagues not included in the competitions filter ?


If I used the CSV list in market type settings, would it override the competitons filter list ?

Hi bartlett1982,

Competitions filter shows all currently available competitions at Betfair. New competitions will appear in competitions filter when Betfair adds them.

Market type/filter will check only market name that is displayed in MARKETS grid view for set text, it will not check competition name property.

I am still having issues finding certain leagues. Shouldn't the Scottish leagues be in here ?

I just tested this and "Scottish Premiership" is available at Competitions rule. Please try opening this form again, it should work. Make sure your time/date is accurately set at your computer.

But all leagues are not available in all strategies. This is from a different one.


This has other Scottish Leagues.

Left side is the list of leagues that you already added. Right side is dynamically populated by using Betfair data and your countries filter at this form.

How and when are they populated?

The bottom one has Scotland League Two, but not the top. Why the difference?

Left side was populated by you, this does not change unless you add/remove leagues.

Right side is dynamically populated each time you open this form by downloading list of available competitions from Betfair.

You cannot use CSV list here.

I have Scottish League two and Scottish Championship in an existing strategy. But I cannot add them to a new strategy . Why ?

Like I said, right side downloads only available competitions from Betfair.com. Scottish Championship is NOT currently available at betfair.com, please check their web site. Once they add matches for this competition then you will be able to add it to your new strategy.

Do you think that is the best method ? I can only add certain leagues at certain points in the week ?

It is only possible to download available competitions from Betfair. We will see if it is possible to create our own list of all competitions, but that will take some time to collect all available leagues.
