Hi,

It looks like max profit is not firing when there is a second safety method added like Pause/ Start after wins/ losses. I had cases where the net profit (with comission added) was for example 0.94 and still bets have been placed although max profit was set to 0.90.

How can I fix this? I wanted to stop the strategy after two consecutive losses but wanted to achieve a certain profit for the day. Also is the max profit looking at the total profit for that day with or without comission added? I have setup that commission will be applied to the total profit.

Hi JustAPunter,

Max profit/loss will stop strategy when strategy profit/loss reaches set value. Strategy profit/loss value can be seen at P/L column of STRATEGIES grid view.

It is possible that your bets were placed before profit was exceeded, as this rule will not limit the size of your bets so that set max profit/loss does not get exceeded.

If you are restarting strategy then restart will clear all placed bets and reset profit/loss to zero.

If you keep having problems with this logic then please post screenshots of settings, profit/loss and of placed bets so that we can check it.

Hi Rade,

I have attached two screenshots of one of my strategy. Max profit was 0.9€ but the strategy didn't pause after 0.94€ has been reached. Is there any explanation for this?

Hi JustAPunter,

Strategy should pause when next market prices are downloaded.

At your screenshots we can see that strategy reached this profit when last bet was settled. There is no next bet after that. So strategy should pause when next market prices are downloaded.

If that does not happen and strategy places new bet then there is a problem and you should export your strategy and email it to us to check it with content of log file.

All strategy rules execute only when market prices are downloaded. If there were no markets in MARKETS grid view after last bet was settled then strategy will stay in started mode until bot gets prices for next market.

Hi Rade,

Thanks for clarifying and it works at it should be. I was confused as the strategy still showed up as still running and the switch didn't go to paused but it didn't place any further bets.
