Hello Everyone,

My bot is betting on the Under 2,5 Goals market 3 minutes before the start of the match.
I am trying to set the hedge function following this rules bellow:
(i) Hedge (or trade out?) if 10 ticks better price, or
(ii) Hedge if 10 ticks worst price, or
(iii) Hedge (or close position?) if the match is in minute 10.

I dont know with i need to combine hedge, close position and trade out or i can set all this rules only in one hedge.
I really dont know why my bot is still in the market even if it satisfies one of the above conditions.
I attached my strategy.

Hi akaue7,

You should use only one Hedge function for this and set it like this:

Do not use any other hedge options at its other tabs, only those at screenshot and then try it out in simulation mode.

Hello Rade, thanks for the explanation.

I set up the hedge to try 3 times with worst price. I would like to ensure that the market will absorb only one bet (after the inicial bet of course).

Can I add the function "Cancel all unmatched bets when X bets matched" > 2?

I mean two bets because the inicial bet and only one "hedge bet" were matched.

Hi akaue7,

"Cancel bets..." rule is not needed as Hedge will cancel all unmatched bets and place new bet so that you get equal profit/loss regardless of outcome.

Hello Rade, thanks for the quick reply.

I attached the print screen and my strategy. The bot did 4 bets in lay. Should the hedge function have canceled three of these four bets?

There should be only 1 Matched Lay bet, other bets should not be placed or they should have zero matched amount.

Has Betfair delayed data to your account? Did you receive any email from them about imposed delay to your account when getting Betfair data?

Please email us following:
1. content of log file, you can open it by using Tools&Settings->Log menu item
2. screenshots of all settings (all tabs) from Tools&Settings->General settings
3. exported bets history, but before you export it display column "Short description" by right clicking on column header at bets history, then choose "Column chooser" and double click on this column in popup so that it gets displayed

Is this happening all the time or it happened only once?

If it is happening all the time, can you please contact Betfair support and ask them if there is any delay imposed to your account on the data that you receive from Betfair API?
