Silly question but does a message in outbox mean sent and not read or not sent?

I figured that It hasn't sent for some reason! Just try it again lol

It says it has sent but still remains in oubox. I now have 3 there lol

Im assuming that it means not read as had reply and now gone from outbox.

Hi,

Sometimes user cannot receive private message because their inbox is full or they reached max number of private messages. They need first to empty their inbox and remove old messages before they can receive and send new messages. In such cases it is possible that your message stays in outbox because it was not delivered to other user, but it should be delivered as soon other user empties his inbox and frees some space.
