General discussion about Bf Bot Manager v3 software for Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook betting exchanges

Morning all,

I'm looking to setup 2 bots on the football markets. The first one places a small bet 1 hour before kick off and checks that the home team is within a certain odds range. I have this bot working, this is basically acting as a trigger (i.e. checking the price is within range 1 hour pre kick off, it will only place a bet of pennies).
The second bot I then want to place a bet at HT on selected games but only if the first trigger bot has placed a bet. I have tried using the "only if specified strategy has bets" Market condition but I can't seem to get the second bot to place a bet. Any help on this would be great.

You should use "MARKET conditions->Only if specified strategy has bets" to check if first bot has matched bets on same EVENT.

Use strategy "Reports" tab to check which rule is not satisfied is preventing second bot from placing bets.

Make sure you auto load markets for second strategy to MARKETS grid view too e.g. half time markets if that bot is betting on them.

You can test this in simulation mode.

If you keep having problems then save screenshots after first bot has placed bet and when you believe that second bot should place bets and post them here to check them. Also post screenshot of Reports tab from that moment to check it.

Hi Rade,

Yeah I have used that market condition and the market I'm betting on is the same as the one in the trigger bet. Both bets should be back bets on the home team. So basically if certain odds criteria for the home side are met 1 hour prior to KO (which the trigger bot checks) I want to back the home team to win if its a draw at HT.
Would there be an issue trying to place more than 1 bet on the same market using 2 different bots? I've never had this issue with racing markets before so it shouldn't be a problem.

Think I may have solved this. I was using My Selection to select matches, and using the same "Tipster" name for both bots. My thought is I was only allowing one bet per tipster. I have now used a different tipster name for the trigger and the main bet.
Is there a way to allow more than 1 bet for the same selection from the same tipster?

I have set this up as described above for a handful of games tomorrow so fingers crossed it works. I'll update with screenshots if it doesn't. Thanks for your help.
