Very quick dumb question. I have recently started working with BF BOT Manager V3 and are now looking and reading up on the Football/Soccer betting. I have come across references and the manual for Soccer BOT. Does Soccer BOT still exist or is it obsolete as BF BOT Manager V3 does everything that Soccer BOT could do and more?

Hi Cheekypops,

V3 comes with example Lay the Draw strategy that works in the same way as Soccer bot. So yes, Soccer bot is obsolete as V3 does all the work.

Great I thought as much.

Rade you never get a rest you are always here to help.

Can you help me with a set up question regarding Soccer. The other night you guided me how to incorporate the 0-0 and over & under 2.5 odds into my test strategy it is working nicely it seems. When it comes to the Favourite in a Soccer match as I understand in the Soccer Win Draw Win market I believe the home team is position 1, away team position 2 and draw position 3. What is the best way for me make use of the favourite price in my strategy for lay the draw. For example in test mode I want to put two strategies up against each other and compare which produces the best filtering of game results. As mentioned above Strategy 1 I have the correct score filter and 2.5 goals helping me pick the games to lay the draw. Now I am looking at comparing it to test strategy 2 where I only want to lay the draw if one of the teams is a solid favourite. The way I thought I could do it was in the Market Conditions of Skip if Back Price of favourite position 1 is not less than back price of favourite position 2 by 2 or more. I also saw the clear favourite option in the market conditions as well. So that could be an option.
How would you do it I am sure you have a smarter way?

Hi Cheekypops,

Following article explains RUNNERS by position:
https://help.bfbotmanager.com/article/5 ... x-position

FAVOURITE and RUNNER by position are two different things.

FAVOURITE by position is determined by odds. Any selection can be first favourite if its odds are lowest.

RUNNER by position is determined by selection index in list of selections. Please see above article to understand how that works.

You can use "Market conditions->Min/max REQUIRED price for selection" to check price range of 1st favourite. At Match odds market if first favourite has odds in range 1.01 - 1.5 then I would say that that selection in clear favourite. If your strategy is betting during in play then tick option to check prices from before in play, otheriwise leave it turned off. There is no need to check odds of other team as match odds market has only 3 selections, so their prices will be much higher. I see no need to use Clear favourite or Skip if favorite difference is not satisfied rules for football, it simply is not needed.

Rade
