Hi - first post and hoping you can help.

I am looking to place a bet as a race starts on all runners at 1.1 and then let it get matched as the race evolves. Unless the 2nd fav is below a certain price and I wish to cancel all unmatched bets. I have tried to place the bets in running - but they are not getting matched in time so need to place earlier.

Hi J,

You can place Lay bets on all runners before start time and then use "Staking->Bets persistence" and set it to Keep so that bets stay alive when race goes in play.

Then use "After bet rules->Cancel bets" rule to cancel bets when X bets get matched. It is not possible to cancel bets when 2nd favorite goes below certain price, but you can cancel all bets after 1 bet is matched.
