Hi,
I am new to BfBotManager, so I set up an example strategy based on an earlier example I found from these forums (see attached). This strategy should lay over 3.5 goals and then hedge out after 12 mins. However I have noticed that in a significant minority of games run in simulation mode, there is no corresponding hedge bet being placed after the 12 mins period (see attached image for example). I was wondering if anyone could take a quick look and point out any obvious mistakes.

Hi Cam,

Simulation mode is using Betfair delayed data and this data is delayed from 0s to 180seconds (or more). It also is not fully synchronized which means that in one moment market is not suspended and in next one is etc.

This can cause problems for simulation in some cases.

Also check your Tools&Settings->Monitoring settings and "Remove markets" settings at that form. Make sure you are monitoring markets until they are Closed and that they are not removed from MARKETS grid view earlier.

If you decide to use real mode then use small stakes to test your strategy e.g. £0.50.

Beside that, you should never remove default rules from new strategies like "Back/Lay Ratio" that ensures that initial bet is only placed when Back price is close to Lay price.

I suspected it was related to the delayed prices being used. I will make the adjustments you suggested and test some more before I go for live mode using small stakes.
