Save Position/Steps on exit - Bf Bot Manager

Stupid question, can someone tell me what the "save position/Steps on exit" is for and what it should be set at

It shows loaded value from previous bot session. Allows to manually set it if needed.

So it is not needed if I just want the progression to continue from the last session if I pause it then unpause it.
