Hi there, I'm wondering if it's possible to do what I explain here as I haven't been able to find the correct settings (if they exist) or existing strategy to make it work like this. Any help or advice greatly appreciated!
First I want the system to lay a selection in every race without missing any out. Therefor I don't want to have an "Unsettled Markets" rule in place because this means unless settling happens very quickly (which it often doesn't) or there are delayed races, races are missed out.
I also want the system to recover all losses but I would like it only to recover losses until the loss is recovered in net value i.e the winnings from each lay bet also count towards the recovery as well as the loss recovery part of the stake.
To acheive this at the moment I have the system set to restart as soon as a profit of £0.01 is made i.e any profit at all so it currently resets as soon as the loss is recovered including taking the winnings into account.
Please note this means that the only way profit is actually acheived is from a run of winning bets that are not part of a loss recovery run.
This is fine but the problem comes from the fact that because I want to lay a selection in ALL races, if a profit of £0.01 is acheived, the Restart function is called while there are still unsettled bets and if one (or more) of those loses, they are disregarded and it doesn't try to recover them.
I thought that turning on "When profit reached wait for all bets to be settled before executing pause" would acheive this but instead all it does is stop putting on any more bets until all unsettled ones are settled and doesn't try to recover any losses.
This all works with an "Unsettled Markets" rule in place of course but it misses out too many races while waiting for settlement.
I've also tried to get round it by setting Unsettled Markets to 2 or 3 and also by putting the profit to 2 or 3 races worth of profit but this will still always miss a potential loss at some point.
I know this may sound a bit niche and it's sort of workable in its current form but I basically want:
1. To lay a selection in EVERY race
2. Recover losses but reset everything as soon as it's back in profit, not just when ALL losses are recovered. Thus, the lay stakes contribute to the loss recovery as well as the loss recovery part of the stake
Any help greatfully received and also totally understand if what I'm looking for isn't possible, thanks!
