I am trying to place an automated bet in the market from imported tips at a set price.

I want the bot to put the bet into the market at the price requested regardless of the current prices, so that it gets into the queue for that price.

I have tried used Price and MaxPrice in the tips import and set the default price to be between 1.01 and 1000 but the bot does not put the bet into the market. Can the bot be used in this way or does it need to wait for the current back price or lay price to be equal to the set price before a bet is placed?

You can import price with your tips by using "Price" column at CSV data.

Then bet placed on that tip will be placed at that price.

Your bet might get matched at better price, as that is how exchange works e.g. you place Back bet at price 1.4 but available price is 1.8 then exchange will match your bet at price 1.8.
