Hi Rade, a quick question about the Odds Ratio setting.

If allow betting when Home Team Back Price is <= Away Team Back Price is

If the home price was 1.50 and the Odds Ratio setting was 20%+ would that make the Away price 7.50?

Is the home/away team odds ratio formula

(X/Y)*100%

Where X is home odds and Y is away odds?

So 1.50/7.50 × 100% = 20%

No, nothing like that.

It checks if one team odds are greater/less than other team odds by X%.

e.g. home odds > away odds * 120% etc.

Just like the settings say at settings form.

I must confess i dont really get it. I'm not known as the sharpest tool in the box though

It only goes up to 100%

So would this mean that we can ONLY look to see if the Away odds are at least double those of the home odds but no more.

For example

If the Away Team odds are greater than the home team odds by 100% and the home teams odds are 1.5 then if the away team odds are above 3 then bet.

If the Away Team odds are greater than home team odds by 100% and the Away Team odds are 2.5 Then the Away Team odds must be greater than 5?

At least, I'm taking it to mean what is

X+100% =Y as opposed to X*100%=X

Idea of this rule is to compare home and away team odds to check if they are close to each other or not, not to compare them when there is a clear favorite and clear outsider. That is why percents go up to 100% only.

If one team odds are 1.5 then second team odds are in most cases 8 or more. At that point it is not very important if second team odds are 8 or 9, they are obviously much higher than home team odds.

Ahhh ok. Understood.

That's a shame though. I had missed this setting previously and for a moment hoped that it would allow me to quickly compare the perceived strength of the two teams against a database held of previous games where the two teams were of a similar strength.
