Let's assume for whatever reason I have the following situation.

Home Odds: 6.66
Away Odds: 3.50
Draw Odds: 1.80

So 1st favourite would be the draw. 2nd favourite would be the away team and the 3rd favourite would be the home team.

Now, if I use Selection Conditions>selection filter>

And select Allow selections whose name contains one of following values: The Draw.

Used reverse logic and do NOT allow betting on selections

Would that remove The Draw from the selection process leaving just the Home and Away Teams?

Meaning that

Home Odds: 6.66
Away Odds: 3.50
Draw Odds: 1.80

If I then set bet type by favourite position would it consider 1st Favourite as Away Team and 2nd Favourite as Home Team, with the bot completely ignoring the Draw Odds for selection purposes.

Basically I'm wanting to select either the favourite or underdog in a game and need to remove the draw entirely.

If not how would I accomplish this?

It will prevent betting on the draw, but it will not consider other selections as first favorite. Other selections would still be the second and third favorite.

You can use "Selection conditions->Selection by highest/lowest" and set it to allow betting on one selection with lowest price. Also use Selections filter to eliminate the draw selection and at strategy "Edit" form set maximum number of bets per runner/market to 1. Use Default bet type in combination with those rules and test it in simulation mode.

Can I still use min/max selection price in combination with what you've outlined?

So for example.

Strategy A. Bet on favourite (home or away team) in Eredvisie if odds between 1.43- 1.80)

Default Bet Type: Back
Selections Filter: Reverse Logic, The Draw
Min Max Selection Price: Back Price any runner 1.43-1.8.
Selection by highest/lowest: 1 selection lowest back price.

Strategy B. Bet on the underdog (Home or away) in English Premier League if odds between 4.10-6.00)

Default Bet Type: Back
Selections Filter: Reverse Logic, The Draw
Min Max Selection Price: Back Price any runner 4.10-6.00
Selection by highest/lowest: 1 selection highest back price.
