Hi,

I am placing a lay bet with a recovery loss on the next available race. I do this successfully with the horses and the bet settles, updates the bot and the bot places the next bet with the relevant stake. However with the dogs the bets remain unsettled despite that betfair have settled the bet and hours passing in some cases even over night.

Is this a bug? am I doing something different as its the same bot settings as horses except for dogs?

Really frustrating hope you can help!

as it stands i think i have fixed it.

I read previous reply on a old thread and it said that maybe the bot was still monitoring too many markets.

I changed the settings to:
Delete a market off after 24hrs
Remove markets after time of start that doesnt have a placed bet on it after 90secs

saved and it cut down my markets from 8000 to 800 no joke.

8,000 markets is too much. You should set Tools&Settings->Monitoring settings->Remove markets to remove old markets without bets. Do not remove markets with bets, otherwise bets will not be settled.

Also you should auto load only markets at which your strategies will place bets.

And finally, run one bot instance for football and similar long lasting events, and another bot instance on another computer for racing events.
