General discussion about Bf Bot Manager v3 software for Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook betting exchanges

Hi Rade,

I'm branching out into some trading but am not sure where to begin.

Basic strategy is to place 4 back bets priced 20 ticks apart on same team and hopefully, but not necessarily get them all matched.

And then, either hedge when a goal gets scored, or when x minutes into a game and so either take the profit or loss and cancel any unmatched bets.

What do I need to be doing?

Would one strategy suffice or would I need to be considering multiple strategies?

I was thinking that i need to set up my entry conditions and then set up 3 additional price rules 20 ticks apart using option 3 but I believe I can only have one price rule, and then I was thinking I would need 2 hedge rules, one for when a goal is scored and another for x minutes into the game.

You will need to create separate strategy for each initial Back bet.

Then to hedge you should use "After bet rules->Hedge" rule and set it by your needs. You can use single hedge rule for this, there is no need for two hedge rules.

You can test all this in simulation mode to ensure that it is working like you want it to.

Thanks Rade,

I won't know the price of my initial entry point. Is there a way to set the back price of one strategy based on the entry price of another strategy?
