Seeking your assistance. I have finally moved out of Simulation Mode into Real Mode with a Lay The Draw strategy that I have tweaked. It looks to performing okay in Simulation Mode. So a few days ago I kicked it into Real Mode. To my surprise no bets have been placed since. The strategy involves In Play betting. When I check my screen it looks like Events and Markets are not following the In Play Markets as soon as Kick Off starts the games disappear. My Market conditions is set to follow In Play.

I am surprised because I have no changed anything since switching from Simulation to Real.

Because I am in Australia and there is some In Play restrictions if so I was surprised the Simulation did not have the same problem. Can I get around this using a VPN?

Anyway help because I am spewing right now.

Ps my horse betting system is working but that is not an In Play system.

Hi there,

Simulated bets only exist within bot, so simulation mode will allow you to test and place bets as no real money is involved.

In real mode bets are sent to Betfair and Betfair can accept or reject your bets. Betfair is probably rejecting your bets because in play betting on football matches is not allowed from Australia. I am not sure if VPN will help you with this problem, but you can try.

I have some extra info and thoughts to help you help me.

1. Looks like the VPN will enable bets to be placed via Betfair as I just placed some now using my Betfair account directly. So that should be okay.
2. As I understand it. The Bot is only capable of placing bets if there are markets displayed Events and Markets window. My strategy involves placing a bet at a certain time during the game. In real mode once the game starts the market is disappearing. I think what the difference to simulation mode was I had numerous other test strategies running which must have keep the markets present in the Events and Markets window for the bets to be placed.

So my question probably comes down to how can I keep the Soccer Game kick off market in the Events and Markets window even though I only have a strategy that will trigger at a certain point in the InPlay game. As mentioned above I think the game is remaining in the Events and Markets window because I had other strategies running which had bets placed prior to kick off and was monitoring to hedge during the game.

I hope this makes easy sense to you.

At Tools&Settings->Monitoring settings->Remove markets tab you can set rules to remove markets. Turn all options off. Keep only option to remove closed markets without any bets on.

Rade I think you might be the Wiz again. I will watch the Markets tonight and see what happens. My workaround was going was to create new additional strategy just to pup a small bet on the markets just to keep the market open for my strategy. I will deselected that system now and see if your fix does the trick.
If it does not fix it and will provide your some more info but I think you have nailed it.

Thanks Rade just watching your Bot do its thing. The inplay games are now visible in the Events& Markets window so that was a great start. I then saw the Lay bet go on then later the back bet so we look good. I do have my VPN running. Tomorrow I might turn it off to see whether it makes any difference but for now you have made me happy fixing this.
