just curious as to when I start bf bot a tools panel comes up which when you click comes up with proxy settings.
What is this for?

Hi Charlie,

Some users use proxy server to access Betfair, it has nothing to do with betting or bots, so for most people this option is useless

so know this is nothing to do with bot as I use it but what is proxy server then?

Hi Charlie,

You can read about proxy server here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server

It is a network configuration, it has nothing to do with betting.
