I'm testing a scalping bot that enters the market then a trade out rule places a lay bet 3 ticks off. The initial bet is set to cancel if unmatched after 15 secs - how do I close the position if the trade out bet is unmatched after 15 seconds?

I've tested a few hedge / close rules and read the manual but nothing has worked yet. Right now the second bet is sitting in the market for minutes instead of seconds!

You should use "After bet rules->Hedge" rule, set it to execute 15s after initialy placed bet. Hedge will cancel unmatched part of initial bet and cancel also unmatched second bet, then hedge your position.
