In general question: How do I bet on a selection (e.g. 2nd fav) if a DIFFERENT selection meets a certain criteria (e.g. if First fav is <1.5 then I want to bet on the 2nd fav)

Specific use case: I actually want to lay the field if the favourite is >2.5

Is this possible using only one strategy or would i have to chain a couple of strats together (e.g. do a trigger bet on the fav that is >2.5 and then another strat that only bets if the first strat has bet, and then it lays the field)

You can use "Market conditions->Min/max REQUIRED price for selection" to check the odds of first favorite. Then only if that selection is within min/max price range betting will be allowed on market (all other rules also need to be satisfied).

Thanks for the clarification. I think my confusion before when I couldn't get this to fire is because I had the similar rule which was under "Selection Conditions" which was obviously only relevant to the selection.

I get it now, by using that criteria under market, it can allow betting to the whole market.
