Hi Rade

A tipster I'm using has started to share his selections in the appropriate format to import into BFBot but uses Google Docs to host the file. Could you advise if it is possible auto import using Google Docs and if so how to format the URL?

If not, do you know what other file hosting methods work?

It would be best that you ask tipster to post his tips at TippingSports.com. Then you and any other user can follow that tipster and each one of you would use your own unique link to import tips to V3. This is explained in following video:

Bot can download tips from any URL that will return CSV in supported format. Just link TippingSports unique url with tips that you can find at your profile page.

From my experience Google Docs does not support this as it opens documents in browser, so that is not compatible. If you send us link to those tips we will check it.

I have found the solution to use Google Docs, a typical share URL looks like this: "https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID ... sp=sharing"

Direct download link equivalent: "https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID"

As you can see, you only need to note of the FILE_ID.

As long as the file has been saved in CSV format, it will autoload into BF Bot.

Hi Rade

Could I ask for clarification on the auto import of tips from a URL. I have successfully set a time for the tips to import but I cannot find in the manual where the Reload from URL is detailed. I'm looking for the bot to reload the tips every hour so that it the Tipster updates the file I capture the details . I have the reload from URL parameter set to 01:00 at the moment but I'm unsure if this is a time or a frequency.

Hi Yorkieuk,

Reload tips is execute every X minutes (value that you set at reload time). It will not remove or change existing tips, it will only add new tips if there are any.

If you get any problems then post screenshots of your auto load tips settings and we will check them.
