I've setup this strategy to place a lay on favourites if they hit a certain price and then lay if price falls below 1.76 then i want it to hedge. In this example my bet on fernabache placed correctly when it reached 10.00, but then it placed a back bet at 3.85 meaning that i lost £8 on this match... not sure what happened here, great full for nay explanation. This bet should have come in, as 0-0 never cam anywhere near 1.76 as goals were scored ?

Hi pritchj1973,

In your case hedge executed 68 minutes after start time, because you had this option turned on. Match started at 18:00 and hedge executed at 19:08. At that time match was 0-0 as first goal was scored at 60th minute, that is 75th minute of in play (after start time).

Beside this, at hedge form there are security settings that you should adjust:
1. back/lay ratio, set it to 10% or 20%
2. tick ratio, set it to 10 ticks

Those will ensure that Back price is close to Lay price when hedge is about to execute.

Change price to monitor for change from "Last traded price" to "Lay price", so that when Lay price is below 1.76 hedge occurs.

This is still not doing what i want it to do.... I only want it take a loss if price goes below 1.76 after 68m of in play time, but it seems to be taking prices of 4.5, 3.9 etc... why is this ???

What i need is to lay 0-0 at 10 or less, and then take a loss at 1.76 between 68m and end of game.... grateful for some help advice on this please.

Hi pritchj1973,

Hedge executes when ONE of those conditions are satisfied:
1. time is 68th minute or later (regardless of price)
2. price is below price 1.76 (regardless of match minute)

You are getting higher prices because hedge is executing as time of bet is satisfied.

Hi pritchj1973,

There is no option to use "AND" logic on hedge settings. We might improve this in future updates.

It is unlikely that 0-0 will go below 1.76 before 68 mins, so if you remove the time hedge and just use the price settings should work as you want.
