is there a way for a strategy to do a back bet in play specifically at odds 3 in play when the odds are dropping from higher

so if odds started at BSP 10 and in play got to 5. can i set it up to place a back bet at odds 3 so if its goes even lower will match at odds 3

if not what would be the best way for a horse to get matched at odds of 3 in play

At strategy "Price settings" tab remove rule "Price rules" and instead use rule "Default price", set it to use Lay price of 3.0.

Use "Selection conditions->Min/max selection price" to check odds of selection etc. Then test it in simulation mode.

so this should back the horse when the odds fall and wont back the horse in play until odd reach 3

Rule "Selection conditions->Min/max selection price" will allow betting only on selections whose price is within set price range at the moment of bet placement, but please read manual for details on how this rule works. Also make sure that you are only betting on runner whose price you are checking for min/max price range! If you bet on some other runner whose price you did not check for price range then you will bet at unknown price.

Make sure that you use simulation mode to test it all.
