Anyone been here long enough will have had a great sim strat that bombs live. What I do to navigate this is use sim mode to ensure the mechanics of the strat do what I want. Then I have a testing budget / wallet in live mode, like a R&D budget in a business. 5-20% would be my recommended range. So for example you have $1000 balance, set $50-$200 aside just for testing live strats and run them at min stakes. You could group them as "testing" and then change their group once they're successful. Use the other $800-$950 to bet as normal. Best of luck out there!
