Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of software/techniques that make editing the CSV tips file a little easier. At the moment I am exporting my tips file to CSV, and then have to use Wordpad to edit what I need. When I try to use Excel or Google Sheets, despite saving the file back as CSV, the tips never import back in - I always get a message advising me 'number of imported tips "0"' . I was hoping for some kit that allows me to export into a spreadsheet so I can run up and down columns, rather than work my way across a text/CSV file, and then allow easy import back into BFBM.

Hope this makes sense!

You can use Excel, but you will need to import file as data and then to set text data type for all columns, in the process use comma , as separator for data. Otherwise Excel will try to automatically convert all column data to numbers/dates etc. and that will corrupt the file.

When saving to file you need to save it as CSV text, without quotes or any other special features.
