I have been trying to program a bot that picks its selections on drifting markets and LAY's them.

The selection I would normally pick manually would be when the Betfair graph drifts and continues drifting IE it never comes back in and then drift again, or pause for a time before before drifting again.

The graph needs to be a consistent drifter throughout the day.

I have tried but everything I have tried picks a different selection to the one I am manually trading in most cases.

There is no point in asking me for my strategy as its all pants, does pick drifters to a fashion but no consistent drifters.

Hi John,

At strategy "Edit->Recording prices" form you can set time when to start and stop recording min/max prices. Set those for example to 2h and to stop 1h 50m before start time. Then those prices will be compared with prices at time of bet to calculate runner price change. You will also need to adjust "Tools&Settings->Monitoring markets" settings to start monitoring markets 2 hours before start time, so that strategy can record min/max at that time.

At your "Selection conditions->Price change - steamers/drifters" rule set it to bet on drifters whose price goes up by X% and adjust it to use strategy recorded min/max prices.

Then adjust "Time to bet" rule to allow betting only 1m before start time.
