Hi can anyone explain " Use number of losses in loss pot" in Overall loss recovery and how is it best used. I have read it in the manual but don't quite get it

Many thanks

Hi dtjcsky,

It is number of losing markets which loss is being recovered at same time.

Example:
Market 1 loses 10gbp
Market 2 loses 20gbp

So if number of losses in loss pot is 1 then first 10gbp will be recovered for first market and after that 20gbp will be recovered for second market.

If number of losses in loss pot is 2 then both losses would be recovered at same time, that is 30gbp would be recovered with next market bets.

Thanks Rade,

So if loss pot is 1, no matter how many losses you have, it will only recover the first loss before moving on to the next loss?

Looking at older posts I think V1 - Loss Pot Recovery % is shown - is this just Recovery Rate on V3
- Max Loss Recovery stake - is this Max Liability on V3

Also how important is setting Overrounds?

Hi dtjcsky,

1 loss in loss pot means that strategy will recover that loss and then move on to next loss.

Loss pot recovery percent is used to set number of bets required to recover loss pot e.g. 100% means recover over one bet and 34% means over 3 bets.

Overrounds have nothing to do with loss recovery. Overrounds ensure that bets are placed only when prices on market are valid.

Kind regards,
Rade
