Hi Rade

I have a simple question. If I place say a back bet on Betfair early in the day and then want BF Bot to manage it i.e. place a lay bet when the price is met, or hedge out etc. is this possible?

Alternatively, is there any way of doing this in BFBot?

It's a strategy I have used in the past manually, hence my query.

Hi lavenham,

Bf Bot Manager only works with bets that are placed in that bot session.

You can select selections for bot to bet on by opening "Selections form" (click on button in column Sl. for that market) and then ticking checkbox "Fav" at left side of selection name.

If you are using Multiple Favorites bot then at Bot Settings form tick option to place bets only on selections that you picked by using Fav column. At Special Rules form you have Hedge option that will hedge this bet when hedge conditions are satisfied.

At main screen increase time of bet to 72 hours before start time and adjust market monitoring settings to monitor markets 72 hours before start time, that way your bet should be placed within few seconds/minutes after you have ticked Fav checkbox (depending on number of loaded and monitored markets).

Make sure you try it out in simulation mode.
