I'm using BF Bot on a VPS that runs Win Server 2016

Today the following updates were installed automatically on the VPS:
2019-07 Servicing Stack Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4509091)
2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4507460)
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - July 2019 (KB890830)
2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4509475)

After reboot I cannot use BF Bot. I click on the 2-factor login link which opens the new window to login, then the app crashes with "BF Bot Manager V3 has stopped working"

The event log has in it:

Before I go on an un-install rampage if you've got any insight I'd love to hear it.

Many thanks

Hi glenstar,

Disabling 2 factor authentication and using first login form works fine. Please use that solution until this is fixed.

It appears that latest Windows updates made some changes that cause bot to crash when it tries to display browser window with Betfair login page. This is something new and caused by Windows updates as far as we know, as this used to work fine until those Windows updates. We will look into this but it is possible that there will be new Windows update that will fix this problem and that we just have to wait for it.

UPDATE:
I uninstalled this update:
2019-07 Servicing Stack Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4509091)

Re-booted and BF Bot works again. So whatever they broke is part of this update
