Tried it yesterday and everything was fine, got some nice steamers. No idea what happened, I haven't changed any options absolutely no steamers today, not even one. I attach some settings screenshots if that help.

Another question. Why maximum recorded price isn't sometimes correct? Or am I doing something wrong? Have a look on screenshots attached please. Atalanta was max traded at 2.4 but "Max traded shows" 2.2:

Hi Alex,

You must auto load markets to MARKETS grid view. Right now you have zero loaded markets.

Bot records data from the moment markets are loaded to MARKETS grid view. It does not have data before that moment.

Sorted, thank you. Can you tell me please how this percentages are calculated? I know this is explained, written there but I tried to do it myself and I get different results. Steamers says: "Price movements in percents from maximum recorded price to currently available price". So looking at this Atalanta example, first we take "Maximum recorded traded price" which is 2.2 am I right? Comparing to what? "Currently available back price" which is 2.02? There is 15% steamer shown. So how this is calculated? I thought I need to compare 2.2 and 2.02 which is around 8.2% steam nowhere near 15% shown. Where are mistakes in my calculation please?

Hi Alex,

100% price change down gives value 1.0, not 0. So you need to adjust price before you calculate price change e.g. (2.2 - 1.0) = 1.20, then 15% is price change down by 1.2 * 0.25 = 0.18 e.g. 2.02.

Hi,

I test steamers/drifters strategy at the moment. Can you have a look at my settings please? I just set 25% drift/steam. There are two games which steamed 26% but bet wasn't placed for some reason. Report says "Does not satisfy 'Price change Steamers/Drifters condition/rule" but why? Im not sure about "Use strategy recorded min/max data" so unchecked but nothing changed.

Hi Alex,

You must set bet type, Back or Lay, following article explains how to do that:

You will probably want to use default bet type, unless you want to bet only on certain favorites by position.

Your price change rule is using strategy recorded min/max data, it is not using data from main steamers/drifters tab. Please read full description for this option at price change rule.

You should turn off to option to ignore price range 180s before the start time, otherwise you will get bets placed on all runners if you use default bet type! That is very dangerous.

Please use bot in simulation mode while learning how it works and while adjusting your settings.

Hi Alex,

If you wish to use data from main STEAMERS/DRIFTERS tab then turn off option "Use strategy recorded data....".

Strategy settings for recording data are only used when option "Use strategy recorded data..." is turned on and this data is NOT the same as data at STEAMERS/DRIFTERS tab.

From your screenshots I understand that you want to use STEAMERS/DRIFTERS tab data, so keep that option turned off.

Then try again in simulation mode.

Turned off now but still doesnt place any bets even if there are steamers above 20%...

Split your strategy to 2 strategies, one for steamers and second one for drifters. Do not turn both options for steamers and drifters at price movement rule, only one of the rules.

Then try again.

If you keep having problems even then, then export both strategies and post them here so that we can check all your settings.

Splitted. It looks like it's fine now, thank you. But one thing bothering me. Not much hassle but still. As you can see there are three bets placed: Kristiansund, Le Mans and Santos. Why last two are not on the Steamers/Drifters list? It is a steam over 20% so I guess should be there. While writing next three bets were placed, same - not on the Steamers/Drifters list but over 20% steam. Any idea why?

Hi Alex,

STEAMERS/DRIFTERS displays current runners that satisfy this filter, it does not display runners whose price changed and are no longer steamers.drifters by those rules. Remove filter so that all selections get displayed and then check price change percentage for those teams.

If match is finished then those teams should be automatically removed from this grid.
