When I start the software, how can I automatically enable the bots that were running when I last closed the software?

At the moment, I have to activate them one by one. Is there a setting that allows the previously running bots to start automatically when the software launches?

There is checkbox option to select strategies and to start only selected strategies. It should remember which strategies were selected on exit/start, so you be able to start only selected strategies with single click on this menu item.

This feels like manual work that I wasn't expecting from an automated system.

Is there a reason why BF Bot Manager can't save the enabled/disabled bot selections when it shuts down? It would be helpful if those settings were restored automatically on startup. Is there a Betfair rule or technical limitation preventing this?

It is a single click to start selected strategies. You just need to make sure you select the ones that you want.

It is a safety issue, so that strategies can only be manually started, never automatically.

For example, if I have 30 bots and 20 of them were active before shutdown, after restarting BFBotManager, how can I start those same 20 bots with a single click?

Like I said, there is Selected checkbox column that you can use for this purpose. Here is a screenshot.

But you also mentioned that we could do it with a single click. That’s why I thought we could aggregate bots into a strategy label/folder/tag, and then activate all of them at once.

Selecting bots one by one to activate them still requires 21 clicks every time, and that’s for only 20 bots.

I really think this should be an option for users, something like a setting to enable auto-start for those who want it.

Not every time, just once.

Selected/deselected values are remembered when you exit/start software. So next time when you start software you would just click start selected bots, no need to select them all again.

I really can’t use that selection workaround because I need the selection tool for other actions, such as duplication. I often use existing strategies as a base to create new, similar ones.
