Hedge settings - Virtual cuddle needed

I'm trying to set up a strategy that lays the draw several hours before kick-off and then hedges when either the favourite team scores (price goes up) or the score remains at 0-0 and the price has dropped by 12%, based on the kick-off price, not the price I took earlier. Are these settings correct (obviously subject to further testing)?

Hedge will execute if price goes up by 25% or down by 12%.
Please use simulation mode to test this.

Will the hedge execute based on the price taken or the price at kick-off?

It compares your initial bet price with Lay price available.

Thanks for the clarification.
I have read the manual, but I was a bit confused about when the Hedge price comparison started and thought I'd maybe missed an option to start comparing from Kick-off, hence the 'cuddle' request. Comparing from kick-off, if I'd got favourable odds earlier in the day, may have given me more match time for a goal from the right team.
I'll adjust my bet time
