does the strategy name have to be exactly the same as bet on imported selections / tips

No, strategy name has nothing to do with imported tips.

At "Staking->Bet on imported tips" rule you need to use your tip "Provider" name, so that strategy bets on tips only from that provider.

Name used at "Staking->Bet on imported tips" rule must be identical to name used at tips "Provider" column. Please use simulation mode to test it and read manual for details.
