Hi,
I often have lapsed bets even though the odds I'm asking for are often reached.
Why does this happen? It's a shame to miss winning bets.

It means that your bet was Unmatched as you requested better odds than the ones available on makret. Market changed status to Suspended and your bet got Lapsed status.

I disagree with your analysis. I have several examples of matches where my bet was canceled (lapsed) despite the fact that the odds I requested were significantly exceeded.

A specific example concerns the following match, which took place on November 30:
Dinamo Bucharest vs ACS Sepsi OSK
At halftime, I asked the bot to place a bet on the Over 1.5 goals market, with odds of 2.54.
At that moment, the odds were 1.39, and the score was 1-0.
By the 81st minute, the odds had risen to 2.56. Logically, given my stake of £25, the bet should have been matched.
However, the goal wasn’t scored until the 99th minute, at which point the odds for Over 1.5 had increased to 11 and had even peaked at 18.5 earlier.

I know this because I retrieved the historical data from Betfair. This is not an isolated case, and I must admit it is very frustrating. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

All real bets are managed by Betfair, so you should discuss it with them and check why your bet was Lapsed. We do not have access to your account, settings or to your bets.
