Betting on specific price movement

Hi,

I have a strategy that shortlists games in a certain price bracket (i.e. 1.76 - 2.0). I want to back these shortlisted teams 5 mins pre kick off - but only if their price has shortened from when I record their initial price at 8am that same day.

Examples
Liverpool: 8am - 1.77. 5mins - 1.74 BET
Arsenal: 8am - 1.84. 5mins - 1.83 BET
Juventus: 8am - 1.91. 5mins - 1.94 NO BET

I know there are price movement settings in the selection criteria tab. However, is there any way to in the current version for price movements to be based off of a unique value for each selection based on my data or can it only look at last traded price or just general movement of X ticks? If I were to import selections from a spreadsheet, could I store the target price to beat in that so BfBot can use it?

Thanks in advance.

There is no functionality for this at the moment, but you can do following.

Import your selections with column MaxPrice. Set value of MaxPrice to 1.74 where your own 8am price is 1.77. Then bet will only be placed if selection price is below 1.74.

This will allow you to set max price that you are willing to accept for your bet and you can easily calculate that price in Excel spreadsheet from your own 8am 1.77 price.

Thanks - that could work and I will test it.

However, I struggle to get bet on imported tips to actually load them. I select the markets and download the My.S. as an excel CSV file. Yet when I try to import them I get 'Number of imported tips 0'. It is a csv file with no gaps and the columns align to what I have in my tips window (even though I had to move them around from the initial download) to make them align.

Any ideas as to why they are not importing?

Thanks

Can you please post one of your CSV files to check their format?

Make sure file is not opened in Excel, as Excel locks file and prevents bot from reading it.

Exactly as you said - I had the file open in excel so that was stopping the import. All working now. Thanks
