I am trying to lay the horse with odds of 2 in play but my strategy is not triggering. Can anyone advise why please

You should use strategy "Reports" tab to see which rule is preventing bet placement.

In this case that is "Market conditions->Min/max REQUIRED price for selection" rule that requires that ALL selections are in price range of 1.01 - 2.0. Please remove this rule and instead use "SELECTION conditions->Min/max selection price" rule and set it to check any selection for price range 1.01 - 2.0.

You are setting bet type on RANDOM selection. Why random? Please remove that rule, Instead use "Default bet type" rule and at strategy "Edit" form (the one where you set strategy name) set max number of bets per selection and market to 1.

You should never remove Overrounds, Back/Lay Ratio rules and you should test all this in simulation mode without risking any real money.

Also your bet size of 0.02 might be too small and bets might get rejected by Betfair due to invalid profit ratio when rounding profit/loss to 2 decimal places.

Then try again, it should work.

I have tried but bot still not triggering any bets?
