if i want to check the pre match prices for the match odds while betting on the over 1.5 markets at half time do i need to load the match odds data into the events and markets screen before the game

Yes, market must be loaded to the main MARKETS grid view. Then you can use "Selection conditions->Bet if specific market selection is in price range" rule to check odds of selection at match odds market.
