Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has a solid way of making sure the 'Box' the Bot is trading in is the correct 'Box' when there is reduced fields in Australian Greyhound Racing.

ie: If I back 'Position 2' and 'Position 8' (Box/Trap 2 & 8) but the below field is made up of below:

Box 1: Scratched
Box 2: Running (now BF position 1)
Box 3: Running (now BF position 2)
Box 4; Running (Now BF position 3)
Box 5: Vacant Box
Box 6: Scratched
Box 7: Running (Now BF position 4)
Box 8: Running (Now BF position 5)

On Betfair, using position 2 & 8 (hoping to back the Dogs in Boxes 2 & 8), the Bot will now be backing Box 3 for Position 2, and no bet for Box 8 as it is now Position 5.

I think in the Gallops the 'Saddlecloth' setting fixes this issue when there is scratched runners but dont think this applies to the Greyhounds.

Is there a way we can back the actual Dogs Number/Box so that is locked in and not affected by reduced fields or scratchings,

If greyhound name contains number in their name then you can use "Selections filter" rule and set it to allow betting only on selections that have specific text/number. Usually Australian greyhounds have number in front of their name.
