Does race status "photo finish" condition actually work?

Race status information is provided by Betfair. You should contact them for details when race will have this status and if market will be available for betting at that time.

So your saying your not sure of automating the photo finish?

Race is finished if it is in photo finish status, so we are not sure if Betfair will accept any bets at that time or not e.g. market might be in suspended status. That is something that you need to discuss with Betfair support, as bot is only displaying and using data that it gets from them.

Ok well il let my bot run for a few days see if it fires.
As the market suspends and then re opens that is the photo finish.

bot wont fire photo finish doesn't work then.
Any ideas on how I can adjust a strategy to do this?
I would need the market to suspend and then know this when it re opens a few seconds later possibly?

Bot monitors markets by your settings at "Tools&Settings->Monitoring markets". Set it to monitor markets until they are Closed.

My monitoring settings already were "until closed"
looks like there's no way betting on a photo finish then.
