I was not having much luck with favourites, due to having backed or layed the favourites before the start and the race starting late so the favourites change.

however i have lots of excel data for traps.

I wanted to try and set up a strategy that will bet on different traps dependent on the previous race outcome, is this something that I am able to do with the system?

V3 comes with example Lay Trap 1 strategy, so you should check that example on how to place bets on specific trap number.

Ideally I need a strategy similar to the selection conditions > sequence of favourites condition.

Am i also able to set up min/max selection price on my own selection?

You can use "Selection conditions->Min/max price for selection" to check for price range. Set it to check any runner for price range, then betting will be done only on selections that are within that price range.
