Lay the Draw Hedge

Hello,

I am trying to run a bot which places a lay bet on the draw at the start of a match where the home team are strong favourites. If the home team score one or two goals, I let it run.

However, if the score is 0-0 or 0-1 at 71 mins, I want the bot to hedge out for a small loss/scratch. I also have an extra rule to hedge out at any time if the home team get a red card. Attached are the screen shots for the set up.

For some reason I don't understand, the bot places the lay bet and then immediately places a back bet to hedge right at the start of the game not at 71 mins.

Can you advise as to what in the settings is causing it to do this?

Thanks

Hi Jockeyp,

You have two hedge or close position.
For second one Market conditions for hedge is Bet when score settings with set 0-0, etc. ?
0 - 0 is result when the match is started. Maybe that is a reason why is placed a back bet to hedge ate the start of the game.

Yes but you can see in picture 5 (titles Snip 5) that I have set the hedge for 86 mins after start time (so 71 + 15 min for HT).

Surely there must be a way to hedge on a score and a time during a match? Clearly what I have done isn't working so any advice greatly received.

Thanks

To hedge on score and time just add time rule to your list of market conditions at hedge form.

Sorry can you clarify further - in the hedge window would I select 'Football - Match Minute' or 'Time to Bet' to do as you say?

Again - i thought I had added a time condition in the hedge form (see snip image 5).

Rules from different tabs use OR logic, so if one of them is satisfied then hedge will execute.

Hedge->Market conditions use AND logic, for hedge to execute all market conditions need to be satisfied.
