Saving preferences and layouts

When exiting or restarting the software, the bots are all stopped by default and any customisations to the layout is lost. For example, I have the bots grouped but this isn't remembered after a restart.
Also, if I sort the tips by time in the manage tips window, then close and open the window I have to sort it again so the same thing is affecting forms within the software. Can preferences like this be remembered? Particularly the state of the bots, as if I had some turned off it's a pain to only turn the ones I need on (or turn them all on and turn off the ones I don't).
